景区简介

红螺山红螺寺景区位于怀柔区城北５公里的红螺山南麓，距北京市区55公里，景区总面积800公顷，现为国家AAAA级旅游区"。深厚的历史积淀和文化浸润，奇妙的地理环境和气候条件，成就了红螺山红螺寺为一方完美殊胜、绝尘脱俗的“净土佛国”。红螺寺坐北朝南，依山势而建，布局严谨，气势雄伟。它背倚红螺山，南照红螺湖，山环水绕，林木丰茂，古树参天。红螺寺处于红螺山山前的千亩苍翠的古松林之中，形成一幅“碧波藏古刹”的优美的画卷。 　　千年古刹红螺寺背倚的红螺山属燕山余脉，山势巍峨雄武，南襟华北平原京北腹地，在历史上就是驰名中外的佛教名山。红螺山一山双峰，比肩耸立，西峰海拔812.9米，东峰海拔811.9米，红螺双峰两翼舒展，引带群山，远远望去，酷似一只大鹏鸟，护卫着古刹寺院。 沿红螺山万米的登山步道登临山顶，放眼四望，山原湖泽，气象万千。北眺燕山，白岩青壑，层峦如烟，苍茫辽阔，极目幽暝；万里长城犹如九首游龙，蜿蜒隐现，穿梭于峰壑之间，密云水库、青龙峡、雁栖湖、怀柔水库、红螺湖尽收眼底。 　　 红螺山红螺寺景区已形成红螺寺、观音寺、五百罗汉园三个佛教文化区和红螺山、青龙山两个观景区，具有“春看花、夏避暑、秋观叶、冬赏岁寒三友”的观光特色。春天：景区山花烂漫，寺院内外的二月兰、玉兰花、牡丹花、月季花、芍药花争香斗艳，红螺寺三绝景之一的“紫藤寄松”，虽已有800多年高龄，却和睦共处，花开繁盛，仿佛一片紫色的祥云笼罩寺院，使整个寺院呈现出一派祥和的气氛；盛夏：红螺寺三绝景之一的“御竹林”，四季常青，百万翠竹含碧盈黛，宛若江南，穿过其间，绿色浓深，凉意袭人。千亩古松林浓荫蔽日，漫步林间或小憩松下，尽情感悟休闲的乐趣；金秋：红螺寺三绝景之一的千年的“雌雄银杏树”垂金挂银，金黄色的树叶与大雄宝殿交相辉映蔚为壮观。景区300多公顷的彩叶林区，由红黄绿绘成了绚烂多彩的画卷；冬天：四季常青的翠竹和松柏林使这里成为冬季里的一片绿洲，十里绿色长廊让你感到浓浓的绿意，“岁寒三友”松、竹、梅在寒风白雪中，千树梅花含笑、万竿翠竹起舞，百万苍松迎客，千年古刹赐福。 Hongluo Temple Tourist Resort       Hongluo Temple Tourist Resort lies at the foot of the Hongluo Mountain. The main structure is the 1,000-year-old Hongluo Temple. The resort is set in the natural scene of the area.       Hongluo Temple was first built in Eastern Jin Dynasty and expanded during the prime time of the Tang Dynasty. It was originally known as the Darning Temple. During the reign of Emperor Yingzong (1436-1450) of the Ming Dynasty, it was changed into Huguo Zifu Temple. It was called by the locals as Hongluo Temple due to the legend of the Hongluo Fairy Maiden.       Hongluo Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in northern China. For the past 1,000 years, it has been a sacred site for Buddhism. Many famous Buddhist monks have a close tie with the temple.       The natural scene of the Hongluo Temple is very beautiful. It leans against the Hongluo Moun­tain in the north and overlooks the Hongluo Lake in the south. The mountains are covered with for­ests and the temple is hidden in an ocean of pine trees. There are three scenic spots dotting around the temple. They are the "Imperial Bamboo", "Male and Female gingko" and "Pines entangled with Chinese wistaria". After many years of devel­opment, six scenes of Hongluo Mountain, Hongluo Temple, Guanyin Temple, Beauty-dis­playing Garden, Pine Forest and Fruit Garden for Plucking cover a total area of 6 square kilometers.       Theme tour in Hongluo Temple can be a temple fair in spring, student camping in summer, golden tour in autumn and ice-tour in winter.       Eating, staying and traffic are convenient at the resort. The Fushouju, Zhuxiang Garden, Songlin Villas and Hongluo Mountain resort can provide       food for 650 people at the same time and over 300 people can be accommodated.
